George Yurko, DO, is a board-certified general practice physician at Rural Health Corporation of Northeastern Pennsylvania. The practice has 12 convenient locations in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
Dr. Yurko has over 50 years of experience, specializes in family practice, and has a professional interest in geriatric medicine. He earned his Bachelor of Science at King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, and earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Kansas City University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri.
He returned to Pennsylvania to fulfill an internship at the Springfield Hospital, formerly known as Tri-County Hospital.
In addition to his educational accomplishments, Dr. Yurko has been a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association, and the Pennsylvania Academy of Family Physicians for over 50 years.
