Meet Samuel Schrack, DO

Bio

Samuel E. Schrack, DO, is a board-certified family medicine physician at Rural Health Corporation of Northeastern Pennsylvania. The practice has 12 convenient locations in Northeastern Pennsylvania. 

With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Schrack has a professional interest in dermatologic procedures, full-spectrum family medicine, aviation medicine, and academic teaching.

Dr. Schrack holds two bachelor’s degrees, one in science at Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and one in biology/chemistry at Lock Haven University in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania. 

He then completed his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Des Moines University in Des Moines, Iowa, and completed an internship at Des Moines General Hospital. Dr. Schrack completed a family medicine residency at Williamsport Reginal Medical Center in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. 

Along with his educational achievements, Dr. Schrack has received several awards, including a certificate for excellence in family practice from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Science and an award from Sigma Sigma Phi, the National Osteopathic Honorary Fraternity.

Dr. Schrack maintains several memberships, including in the American Osteopathic Association, the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association, the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Pennsylvania Academy of Family Physicians, the Pennsylvania Medical Society, and the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology. 

A retired major in the Pennsylvania Air National Guard, Dr. Schrack is also a member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association.

Dr. Schrack is committed to establishing long-term patient relationships based on mutual trust and understanding.

Dr. Schrack enjoys watching Penn State football and basketball games, gardening, music, and aviation when he's not at work.
